Modular Battery System

Key skillsets used for this project: This project was meant to demonstrate a new product of my own design.

This theoretical product is a modular battery system composed of many small, identical, and easy to transport battery modules attached to a central base station.

Geometry Nodes were used to make the array of lithium ion cells and their contacts. This is the same Node setup that was used to make the hexagonal designs at the bottom of each page.

Each component was then modeled around the lithium cells.

The model includes: As with the previous project, Cycles was used to render images, while Eevee was used to render the animation.

Keyframes were made for the camera and all objects in the scene to animate them. Keyframe interpolation curves were further manipulated to make the animation as smooth and easy to understand as possible.
